Group Volunteer Project Application

We love having families and groups come and support our mission! The ideal group includes 4 to 6 people during regular business hours.

We are not able to accommodate groups larger than 10 volunteers at one time. If you have a group larger than 10 individuals, we recommend breaking your group up into teams of 4 to 6 individuals or considering one of our special projects if available. Our special projects may permit a larger group size. Help & Hope Center does not permit volunteers under the age of 13 years old.

VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT AND GUIDELINES: As a Help & Hope Center Volunteer, I commit to the following: • I will serve in a professional and friendly manner. • I will maintain client confidentiality at all times. • I will treat all clients, customers and fellow workers with courtesy and respect. • I will always project a positive image of the Help & Hope Center. • I will price all items fairly; the same for customers, friends and fellow volunteers. Client Contact Guidelines: • Direct all client needs to a client advocate who can determine the most appropriate way to assist. It is not permitted to offer personal assistance to clients. This includes any kind of financial help or giving rides. • When interacting with clients, do your best to help inform them on the variety of services HHC offers. Ways You Can Help: • Cash donations to HHC programs • Donate clothing/household goods • Donate gas cards/gift cards • Give your time and energy I, as the leader and decision-maker of my group, and on behalf of all participants in my group, have read, understand, and agree to comply with the guidelines above.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RELEASE: I hereby grant permission to the rights of my image, likeness and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration. I understand that my image may be copied, edited, exhibited, published or distributed and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording. I also understand that this material may be used in diverse setting within an unrestricted geographic area. Photographic, audio or video recordings may be used for the following purposes: • conference presentations • social media and online presentations • informational presentations By signing this release, I understand this permission signifies that photographic or video recordings of me may be electronically displayed via the internet or in the public setting. There is no time limit on the validity of this release nor is there any geographic limitation on where these materials may be distributed. This release applies to photographic, audio or video recordings collected as part of the sessions listed on this document only. By signing this form I acknowledge that I have completely read and fully understand the above release and agree to be bound thereby. I hereby release any and all claims against any person or organization utilizing this material for educational purposes. I, as the leader and decision-maker of my group, and on behalf of all participants in my group, have read, understand, and agree to comply with the guidelines above.
